Miley Cyrus has revealed that she is a fan of punk music and listens to it as much as she can.

She told J-14, “My sister and I would go to Wal-Mart, open all the doors to the car, put on scream rock music, and get out and dance around the car because no-one was there. That was something that you do when you’re in Nashville, bored at three in the morning, and you’re with your sister.”

Miley also revealed in the interview that shooting “The Last Song” gave her a break from city life.

She said, “I got on the plane and I was lying in my mom’s lap and crying and saying, ‘I’m so happy to be getting out of L.A.’ I went out every night with my friends. I did karaoke. I danced. I felt so alive and real. It’s so much easier to know who you are when there aren’t a thousand people telling you who they think you are.”
